Hey there, neighbor! Welcome to planDisney. I’m always excited to hear from a fellow Floridian, especially one bringing the fam along for a pixie-dusted Park Hopper adventure!
Jessica, your nephews are all set with their three-day
Park Hopper tickets and a reservation for Disney’s Hollywood Studios on Monday, August 25. That means they’re totally in the clear to hop over to Magic Kingdom later in the day to catch
Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away. As long as they tap into Hollywood Studios first, they can hop to any other park, including Magic Kingdom, without needing a second reservation, as long as the park hasn’t reached capacity.
Now let’s talk about your plan, because it’s a little different with your Annual Pass. Since July 20, Passholders need to have a theme park reservation for Magic Kingdom if they want to visit at any time of day, even after 2 PM. This temporary update is in place due to the high demand around the new nighttime parade. So if your goal is to join your nephews at Magic Kingdom later that day, you’ll definitely want to make sure you secure a reservation for that park ahead of time. Without it, even if you're just trying to hop in for the parade, you wouldn’t be able to enter.
If you already have that
Magic Kingdom reservation in place, you're all set. You can start your day there or even just scan in quickly, then hop over to Hollywood Studios to join your crew and head back together later for the big nighttime magic.
Because updates are always being made at the most magical place on Earth, this current rule Disney is implementing for Passholders could change. So, be sure to keep an eye on the My Disney Experience app or check with Guest Relations as your trip gets closer, just to make sure everything's still lining up with your plans.
Wishing you a day full of heart-tugging music, glowing floats, and memories you’ll be talking about long after the last sparkle fades,
Emille
