My nephew wants to give me his Disney Reward Dollars card for our upcoming trip. Is that possible, will I be able to use it? Is it equivalent to a gift card? 26 more sleeps!!! thanks!

    Hi Kathy ~

You have a pretty cool nephew that wants to give you his Disney Rewards Redemption Card.  I actually just got my new one in the mail today and can't wait to use it during the upcoming Princess Half Marathon.

Although it is associated with a Chase Disney Visa Card account, there is no member name shown on the Disney Rewards Redemption Card.  I've never had them ask for any form of identification when I've used the card at Disney.  As long as your nephew has activated the card prior to your departure, you should be able to use any Disney Dream Reward Dollars that have been transferred to the card without a problem during your trip.  The Disney Rewards Redemption Card is accepted at most locations at Disney World. I like to think of it as my free pixie dust!

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
