    My nephew will be in town on New Years eve to visit for the military. He is on active duty in the Marines therefore can not stay for an extended period of time. Is there a discount on 1 day 1 park passes for these guys or just the 4 or 5 day packages?

    First of all I would like to thank you nephew for his invaluable service. You must be very excited to have him close to you on such a special day! Be sure to catch Fantasy In The Sky Fireworks at Magic Kingdom Park starting at 11:50 p.m. for a fantastic way to ring in the new year!

    At this time the only official information I have regarding especially priced tickets for members of the U.S. military is the current 4-day or 5-day promotional admission tickets offer. 

    I managed to call the Walt Disney World Resort and spoke to a Cast Member who advised contacting your nephew’s participating U.S. military base ticket office for more information on discounts for 1-day admission tickets. He might be able to get a discounted ticket, but I am not sure if it will be as good as the offer for 4-day or 5-day tickets. In addition, try calling Shades of Green, the military resort that is located on Walt Disney World Resort. They can be reached at (407) 824-1403 and may be able provide you with information on possible discounts for one-day tickets. You can purchase tickets from them whether you are staying there or not.
