It's great to see you here today at planDisney, Amy!
I'm so happy to hEAR you will be returning to the magic of Walt Disney World Resort with your nephew! If there's one thing I love about The Most Magical Place on Earth, it's the pursuit of inclusivity. My kiddo also uses the
Disability Access Service (DAS), and being accommodating to him by providing an environment that makes my Mouseketeer feel safe is vital. The DAS is a program that helps Guests who cannot tolerate a traditional queue, and I'm so happy to tell you that Walt Disney World Resort absolutely still offers this service to Guests who need it.
I'm also very excited to tell you that now Guests who are coming on November 1st or after are able to Pre-Register for the DAS in advance; however, no worries if you're coming beforehand. Guests are welcome to head to any of the
Guest Relations locations or the several Guest Relations kiosks located in every theme park to sign up for the service. Once he has signed up, the DAS is valid for up to 60 days.
Now, Guests can choose
Same-Day DAS Return Time Self-Selection Tool within their
My Disney Experience Mobile app! So, once your nephew has signed up for the service and has entered the theme park, rather than going to the attraction's queue, he can open up his My Disney Experience Mobile app, tap on the three horizontal lines located on the bottom right corner, and select the Disability Access Service (DAS) button to enter the self-selection flow! Isn't that amazing? One selection at a time can be made this way.
We can't wait to welcome you and your Ohana to the magic, Amy! Have an enchanting visit!
