Hiya Itsel!
Welcome to planDisney, and thank you so much for sending us your question today! Wow, Itsel, you are definitely going to be the coolest aunt after this trip. I cannot wait for you to make such magical memories with your nephew, and I am honoured that you came to me for help during your planning process. And with
so many amazing experiences returning to the Disneyland Resort, there's no better time to be visiting the happiest place on Earth!
When it comes to bringing your nephew to Disneyland, there are no requirements that the child must be accompanied by their parents. Indeed, the only requirement for minors visiting the parks is that
children under 14 years old have to be accompanied by a guest aged 14 years or older. Simply make sure that your nephew has his ticket, that you have the confirmation barcode that comes with its purchase, and that you have made
theme park reservations for the both of you. If you can purchase his ticket at the same time as yours, that would be even easier! Therefore, you will not need to worry about bringing a letter from the parents. You can simply focus on having the best day ever with your nephew.
Now, something that I adored when I was a kid was watching the Main Street Electrical Parade going down Main Street USA. I still remember the beautiful lights, the floats, the music and the feeling of seeing my favourite characters together. Lucky for you,
the Main Street Electrical Parade will be returning to the Disneyland Resort on April 22, 2022, just in time for its 50th anniversary. With brand new floats and characters from your favourite movies like Raya and the Last Dragon, Encanto, The Jungle Book, The Princess and the Frog, Coco, and many more, you will not want to miss this one!
I hope this was helpful, Itsel, and that you and your nephew will have the most magical time on your upcoming Disneyland visit! If you have any other questions in the time leading up to your vacation, don't hesitate to reach out. You and me, we're in a club now, and you're as welcome as can be!
Have a magical day,
Ariane
