    Want to take my nephew to Disney world with my family. I live out of state. But he lives in state can his parents buy the Florida resident ticket for him and join us? Parents would stay home to work.

I am so excited for you and your nephew to make magical memories together and I am honoured that you came to us during your planning journey. There's nothing quite like family Disney trips, especially during The World's Most Magical Celebration!

    To answer your question, if your nephew and his parents live in Florida, they can in fact purchase a Florida resident ticket for him instead of a regular theme park ticket. They would simply go on the Walt Disney World Resort website and purchase tickets using the special Florida Resident offers. Now, this next step is what will really make this process easier than ever! Your nephew's parents will be able to upload and verify their proof of Florida residence online when purchasing their tickets so you will not have to stop by Guest Relations to do so. When they are purchasing the ticket, they will simply have to fill in the "Your Florida Resident Information" form upon checkout when using the website. If they are purchasing the ticket through the mobile app, however, they would instead complete the "Customize Your Tickets" step. That way, you will be able to go to the parks and straight to your favourite attractions!

    Something else you could do to make his visit extra magical would be to get a MagicBand! If you are staying at a Disney Resort, you can purchase MagicBands up to 10 days prior to or upon your arrival. The reason why I would recommend purchasing a MagicBand for your nephew is that not only will you be able to link it to his My Disney Experience profile and simply walk up to the main entrance of any theme park, but also because you can get a MagicBand of one of his favourite characters! MagicBands are a fun and colourful way to have your theme park admission on you at all times, and your nephew will associate that MagicBand with all the magical memories you will make together.
