Hello, Jason! Welcome to planDisney! I'm thrilled to extend a warm Florida welcome to you, complete with sunshine and smiles.
How exciting that you're planning a Disney Cruise with your nephew! Don't worry, keeping him entertained won't be a concern. With deck parties, evening shows, character meet-ups, and imaginative youth spaces, there's
magic for guests of all ages.
Before you embark on your high seas adventure, ensure your nephew’s parents complete the
Disney Cruise Line Authorization for Minor to Travel Without a Parent or Legal Guardian form. You'll present this form during check-in at the terminal. Also, review the additional
travel documentation necessary before heading to the port.
Depending on your itinerary, U.S. citizens sailing on a closed-loop voyage must present an original or copy of a state-issued birth certificate AND a physical Government-issued photo ID or a passport. Your nephew won’t need to show a photo ID.
The beauty of a Disney Cruise is that it allows everyone the freedom to enjoy what they love while providing valuable family time. To make the most of your journey together, download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app to access a list of daily activities once you're aboard. I recommend starting your vacation by enjoying lunch and heading to the upper decks for a high-energy sailaway party! You'll experience a special horn sendoff as your ship pulls away from the port – a fantastic way to kick off your vacation!
Feel free to reach out if you have any more questions. We're here to help! Happy sailing, and enjoy your countdown!
SEAS the adventure!
