Hi Nicole, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
We celebrated my son’s birthday at Walt Disney World last year with an all-day Star Wars galactic extravaganza. There are so many stellar
Star Wars experiences to choose from, and I’ve got some ideas for making the most of your Padawan’s special day.
A Star Wars Guided Tour is a VIP-style experience designed for Guests who really want to pack as much Star Wars into one day as possible. The birthday kid will feel like a Jedi Master as he accesses the Star Wars attractions at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, enjoys a themed lunch, gets a behind-the-scenes look at props, artifacts, and other cool “space junk,” and takes in the Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular fireworks show from a special viewing area.
My family had a blast at the Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular Dessert Party. We enjoyed so many Star Wars themed treats and drinks, met our favorite characters a few times, and then proceeded to the VIP viewing area for the stellar fireworks. I enjoyed the experience so much that I made reservations for a friend as a wedding gift!
Star Wars: Secrets of the Empire is a phenomenal virtual reality experience at
The VOID in Disney Springs. Guests enter the world of Star Wars through immersive technology and complete a mission on behalf of the Rebellion. Afterward, you could enjoy a fun meal and some birthday shopping at Star Wars Galactic Outpost.
With Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opening this Fall, I bet there will be lots of Star Wars news coming, so keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for all important dispatches.
I hope your nephew has the best birthday in the galaxy!
May The Force Be With You,
Robyn
