Will negative rapid home tests be accepted for my toddlers to enter the parks when we visit?

    Hi Krista, welcome to planDisney!

Mickey and his team of health and safety experts have been constantly monitoring the conditions throughout the Disneyland Resort, and have been adjusting their COVID-19 health and safety protocols accordingly! Per the current guidelines, while the State of California strongly recommends that all Guests be fully vaccinated or obtain a negative COVID-19 test before entering the Disneyland Resort, this is a strong recommendation and NOT a requirement. At the current moment, you are not required to provide a negative COVID-19 test.

There are some updates though regarding face coverings that I want to ensure you are aware of. The Disneyland Resort strongly recommends that Guests wear face coverings in indoor settings. There are only certain indoor settings, such as Disney shuttles and health settings (like First Aid) where face coverings are required for all Guests (ages 2 and up), regardless of vaccination status. If you are outdoors, facial coverings are optional for all Guests.

I hope this helps to clarify the requirements regarding COVID-19 health and safety protocols!

AND, a little bit of magic before I let you go, it was just recently announced that as early as April 18, 2022, the Disneyland Resort will be reintroducing the traditional character meet and greets! This means Mickey and all his Pals will be waiting to give your little kiddos hugs and sign autographs! Exciting right?

I hope you have the most magical time!

    See ya real soon!
