can a negative at home test be used as proof to enter the park?

Hiya, Xochitl! Thanks so much for popping in to planDisney with your question. Just a few more days and you’ll be at the Happiest Place on Earth! You must be so excited.

Thank you for looking into health and safety information prior to your visit. Although the State of California strongly recommends Guests are fully vaccinated or have a negative COVID-19 test prior to entering the Disneyland Resort, it is not currently a requirement. Guests ages 2 and older are required to wear face coverings when indoors, regardless of vaccination status. During our recent visit, my family was appreciative of the extra measures being taken to keep everyone safe. It’s a good idea to check the experience updates until you visit, as guidelines can change.

It looks like you will be arriving just in time to catch the Lunar New Year celebration at Disney California Adventure Park! The celebration is on through February 13. I have a visit coming up too and I’m planning to watch Mulan’s Lunar New Year Procession while I enjoy Asian treats with my Sip and Savor Pass! The Mango Pineapple Pie is high on my list to sample.

I wish you a truly magical visit. Come back and see us if you have more questions, we’re all EARS!
