What do I need to do to try to get on the new Star Wars Ride or the Spiderman ride. I have reservations for both parks next week attending for three days. My friend got a three day ticket and is coming from out of town. I am a passholder.

    Hey Kris!

    Welcome to planDisney!

I am so glad you brought this question here today as things have changed a bit. At this time, WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure is in a hybrid mode where it could be a standby line, a virtual queue, or a combination of both throughout the day. Once you get to the parks, check the Disneyland Mobile App to see if the attraction access is via the virtual queue or the standby line. If the virtual queue is in place, you must be scanned into Disney California Adventure Park in order to join. The 7am and 12pm boarding groups for this attraction will be paused at this time. Keep checking throughout the day as access can change through the day.

For Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, the standard 7am and 12pm boarding groups still apply. Since you are visiting with a friend, you will want to make sure that you are linked to each other’s account so you can join together. On the Disneyland Mobile App, click the three lines in the lower left corner, select Tickets and Passes and then the blue + sign in the upper right hand corner before you click Link Tickets & Passes. You can then scan your friend's ticket or enter the ID number.

When attempting to join the virtual queue for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance at 7am or 12pm and WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure (time and availability varies by day), you will click on Virtual Queues on the Disneyland Mobile App and then Join Virtual Queue. You'll then select your party from the list of guests that are linked to you, choose your park and then Join Virtual Queue at the appropriate time.

Well Kris, I wish you the best of luck and hope you get to enjoy both of these incredible attractions!

Remember, always believe in the Magic!
