Hiya, Pal!
Your next great adventure is only a few months away! I know that you're counting down the days until you tap into the magic of the Disney Parks. I am more than happy to give you more information about how you can possibly use the
Disability Access Service (DAS). First, I'd like to point out an important note from the Walt Disney World Resort website: "A Guest whose disability is based on the necessity to use a wheelchair or scooter does not need DAS. Depending on the experience, Guests utilizing a wheelchair or scooter will either wait in the standard queue or receive a return time at the attraction that is comparable to the current standby wait."
If your husband will be using a scooter, I highly recommend that you reach out to
Services for Guests with Mobility Disabilities or email disability.services@disneyparks.com. From there, if they believe that you should still look into DAS eligibility, you have two options: pre-registering online up to 30 days before your arrival or visit Guest Services at one of the four theme parks.
Any one of the planDisney panelists would love to share their tips and tricks for making the most of your upcoming vacation. So, if you have any additional questions,
revisit us here. We're all ears!
Magic always,
LeAndra
