Hello Destiny, and welcome to planDisney! When it comes to
planning a Walt Disney World vacation, you’ve certainly come to the right place! Helping first-time visitors to The Most Magical Place on Earth is one of my very favorite things, and it would be my pleasure to help you make your vacation as memorable as possible!
First, it is good to think about the ages and interests of your travel party. Take a look at the
Disney World website, where you can see information about the four incredible
Disney Theme Parks. Depending on your loved ones' preferences, you may find that a visit to
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge might fit the bill, or maybe a trip around the World Showcase at
Epcot would be best. If you are traveling with little ones, check out this
detailed guide on the best attractions and must-dos. Please know that at this time, availability and Park Hours are limited during the phased reopening of the Disney Parks.
I also recommend that you consider where you will stay during your trip as an important part of your vacation. I highly recommend a
Disney Resort Hotel, as there is one to fit every preference and budget. This will make sure you have the easiest access to all that Disney has to offer and allow you to be “in the magic” from the start to finish of your trip! A stay at a Disney Resort Hotel allows you to have easy access to
Disney Transportation options such as Walt Disney World Bus Service, the
Disney Skyliner and the Monorail. Easy access to restaurants, pools, and recreation make for the special touch for those hours that you will not be spending in the Theme Parks.
When you are ready to book a
Disney Vacation Package, you may do so right from your My Disney Experience account or with the help of a Disney Vacation Planner, whose services are available to you via telephone. There are also Disney Travel Agents who work independently and can provide similar services as well.
Before you go, please make sure that you check out the
Disney Park Pass availability calendar. In addition to valid Disney Theme Park Tickets, each member of your travel party will need a Disney Park Pass Reservation for each day you wish to visit the Theme Parks. Certain days do fill up, so it is best to check availability in advance!
Destiny, I hope that this brief overview is helpful to you as you embark on your planning journey. You are really in for the experience of a lifetime. I am so very excited for you! Please know that you can always come back to see us during any part of your planning process, as it would be our pleasure to help you every step along the way.
Wishing you many magical memories,
Clara
