I am needing to know how much time to allow for getting from the different parks to our dinner reservations. For example; we are headed to Hollywood Studios the first day, but need to get to the Polynesian Resort for our dinner reservations.

    Hi Pam!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I am excited to see that you have made some dining reservations at the Disney Resort hotels - this is something I do a lot! and not only will you enjoy a wonderful meal but it gives you the chance to have a look around and explore different hotels.   It is a great idea to plan your travelling in advance because you do not want to be late for your reservation.  You will need to take a Disney bus from Disney's Hollywood Studios to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort.  It is recommended that you allow 60-90 minutes when using Disney Transport, but it really depends on whether there is a bus waiting for you, or if you have just missed one and have to wait around 20 minutes for the next one to arrive.  Then you must include your walks to and from the bus stops, and the actual journey time.  I would recommend you give yourselves plenty of time, and if that means you arrive at the Resort hotel early, then make the most of exploring the grounds and the beautiful lobby, and soak up the views over Seven Seas Lagoon.

If you have time after your dinner you could take a boat to Magic Kingdom Park to enjoy the fireworks, or watch them from the pool area of Disney's Polynesian Village Resort.

Please come back and visit us if you have any further questions. We will be happy to help you plan your magical vacation to Walt Disney World Resort.
