Thanks for directing your question my way, Kristie! Yes, I absolutely can and am honored to help.
When you’re planning for a party of that size, one of your first priorities should be settling on accommodations. If you all want to sleep under the same roof, you’ll need to reserve a
2-bedroom villa. If family dynamics allow and you don’t mind splitting up into two parties of four, you can choose a standard room in just about any hotel in the
Disney Resorts Collection. My planDisney panelist friends have put together some great tips on
choosing the right resort for your family that you might find helpful for this step.
Next, I recommend checking out the digital
Tickets & Visit Guide. This informative resource offers a great overview of each park and might help you narrow your must-do attraction list based on the interests of your traveling party. It also includes helpful tips on deciding how long to stay.
Once you’ve made your resort reservation and purchased tickets, be sure to create a
My Disney Experience account and link all of your tickets. This tool (and the
app) will help you organize your trip details for quick reference.
Another important part of planning a magical vacation is making
dining reservations. You can do this up to 60 days in advance and I highly recommend doing so right at that 60 day mark for the best availability.
Whispering Canyon Cafe,
Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria and
Liberty Tree Tavern are some of my personal favorites.
As your trip approaches, Kristie, I recommend dusting your vacation with a little extra pixie dust in the way of magical experiences. Consider a
Movie Under the Stars, a
VIP Tour or maybe a welcome
Celebration Basket.
I hope this helps get you going in the right direction, Kristie. If you need additional help creating a dream vacation that’s practically perfect in every way, I’ll be your go-to girl!
