Bright Suns!
Our Allies in the Resistance will be encouraged by this news of your upcoming arrival! We love to assist with planning intergalactic visits and realize that this may be your first voyage to Batuu. Rest assured, while we hope you will spend time visiting Star Wars Galaxy's Edge, we realize that your intergalactic travels may take you to theme parks at the Walt Disney World® Resort. So, let's get started!
First, every traveler needs accommodations. Take a look at the
Disney Resorts Collection options and decide which type of resort hotel you would prefer. Consider the dining and transportation options as well as proximity to the theme parks. My family prefers Disney resort hotels because they have access to complimentary
Resort Transportation. And, amongst the Disney resort hotel options, we prefer resort hotels with access to multiple transportation options. Disney's Contemporary Resort, for example, has access to
Walt Disney World® Monorail Transportation,
Walt Disney World® Bus Service, and is within walking distance to Magic Kingdom. I also love Disney's Art of Animation Resort and Disney's Pop Century Resort because they have access to the
Disney Skyliner.
Once you have selected your resort hotel accommodations, think about how many days you would like to visit the theme parks. I recommend at least four days so that you can have a full day at each theme park. While standard theme park tickets are great, consider tickets with the
Park Hopper™ Option which would allow you to visit more than one theme park per day. Once you have settled on the theme park tickets, I suggest that you book a
vacation package. Check the
Special Offers to see if there is one that has availability for the dates you would like to visit.
After booking that vacation package, check the
advanced dining reservation booking window details and mark your calendar for the date that your dining reservation booking window opens! I always get up at about 5:45 a.m. to get ready to make those dining reservations when our booking window opens. Prior to the date, I sit down with my family to choose the dining locations we would like to visit. Then I prioritize the list so that when our reservation window opens, I try to make those hard-to-get dining reservations first.
I hope this helps you get started making plans! Looking at your arrival date, I will add that you are planning to visit during a most magical time of year - the
Holidays at Walt Disney World Resort. Given the anticipated crowds, I suggest that you get a vacation package confirmed soon! Please stop back by if you have any additional questions!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
