I am needing help linking someone else ticket my Disney Experience. When I type in the ID #, it is telling me it cannot link. Please help! :)

    Hey howdy hey, Mckenzie!

Welcome to planDisney and thanks so much for stopping by with your question about linking theme park tickets in My Disney Experience. It sounds like you're planning a visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth - are you counting down the days yet!?

First things first - in order to link theme park tickets to someone else's My Disney Experience account, you'll need to connect your accounts via your Family & Friends Lists. To do this, navigate to your Family & Friends List and scroll all the way to the bottom, then select "Add a Guest." Select "I'll enter their name and age." and enter your friend or family member's details, then select "Invite this Guest to connect." Type in the email address associated with their Disney account and tap "Done." Your friend or family member will receive an email inviting them to connect with you on My Disney Experience. Once they accept the invitation, you'll be linked via your Family & Friends Lists, which means you can include one another in plans like dining reservations, theme park reservations, and Lightning Lane entry selections!

Mckenzie, you've got a friend in me, and now you've got a friend in your Family & Friends List, too! It's easy to link a theme park ticket to your friend or family member using the My Disney Experience mobile app. In the app, navigate to "Tickets and Passes" then click the "+" symbol in the top right-hand corner of the screen, then "Link Tickets & Passes." Here, you'll enter the ID code on the back of your theme park ticket (if a physical card) or the order confirmation number (if an email confirmation). Hit "Submit", and on the next screen, you'll be prompted to assign the ticket to either yourself or an individual in your Family & Friends List. Assign the theme park ticket to your buddy, and you're good to go - to infinity and beyond! If you're still experiencing linking issues, I encourage you to reach out to the friendly Cast Members at the My Disney Experience, MagicBand and MagicBand+ phone line for additional support.

I hope this information has been helpful, Mckenzie. I'm wishing you a magical and memorable visit to Walt Disney World Resort! If you have any additional planning questions, you're always welcome to stop back by planDisney anytime - we're happy to help!

    So long, partner!
