Dawn from GA Asked Note: This answer was provided prior to the change to planDisney and may still contain references to Disney Parks Moms Panel.

We are needing to find out if our 4-day Military promo DYW certificate which I synced with our Magic Bands, but have not turned i them in for hard tickets. We have WDW Resort RESV., Will we still be priority to book Park reservations for new RESV. System?

    Hi Dawn!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you so much for bringing this Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question to us hEAR! Also, please allow me to thank your family for your service!

I'm a Military spouse with all kinds of experience in validating the wonderful U.S. Military Promotional Tickets before their first use. (Pro Tip: We now try to get this done at the Guest Relations location at Disney Springs the day we arrive so we'll be good to go on our first Disney park day.) And it sounds like you've been doing your resEARch about the phased resort reopening and returning to the magic!

We have not heard for certain if guests currently holding exchange tickets (military, tickets through some third parties, Annual Passes purchased online, etc) that are yet to be validated will be included in the new reservation system. However, in thinking back on vacations to The Most Magical Place on Earth in previous yEARs, as soon as I entered the 16-digit code on the back of the exchange ticket to my My Disney Experience Profile, I was all set to make FastPass+ reservations when it became time despite still needing to complete the in-person validation step. So while I'm certainly hopeful that these vouchers are included as there is a bit of a precedent, I am absolutely adding this scenario to my list of details of which I'm going to dig in deeper. (Deep-EAR?) Please feel free to check back with us in a few days or weeks to see if we know anything new.

I do know that there is new info coming soon about the new park reservation system, so now is a great time to bookmark or 'like' and 'follow' the Disney Parks Blog across all of their social media channels for official announcements. And also make sure that your contact info and email address are up to date in your My Disney Experience profile so you'll be sure to get the newest news first.

Again, I'm so sorry that this wasn't more helpful right now, Dawn. But we'd love to see you back soon with any more Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning questions you may have. We're All Ears!
