Greetings, Natalie!
Thank you so much for bringing your question to us at
planDisney. I have a great tip that might help solve your problem. Like your upcoming trip, my family has also visited
the parks as a larger group. When it came down to
dining reservations, I usually split our group up into 2 separate “families”. As the person making the reservation, you are only allowed to make one reservation under your name. What I suggest doing is assigning 2 people to be in charge of scheduling the reservations, one for each party. What you will want to do is schedule a
dining reservation for the first half of the group while another member of your party reserves for the second half of the group. My dad and I are usually the people who do this when we visit.
I do have another great tip! Let the Cast Member know at the restaurant that your 2 reservations are together. They might be able to sit your entire party closer together if there’s availability.
Natalie, I do hope this quick fix helps secure the dining reservations you all wish to enjoy! Don’t forget to use the
mobile app to check for any additional last-minute reservations you may want to enjoy.
Have a
great trip!
