what is needed or required to get a guest assistance pass or a disability pass

    Hi Phillip,

Guest Assistance cards can be obtained from the Guest Relations counter at each of the DIsney parks. They can be issued for the length of your stay and the Cast Member that assists you will be able to assign the card that best fits your needs based on the disability. Guests needing a wheelchair may not need the card as there are accessible entries at the attractions where the Cast Member can help with your needs. Guests ion wheelchairs with additional needs may want to obtain an Assistance Card so Cast Members are aware of your needs. Also guests without visible disabilities will want to obtain a card so the Cast Members working at the attractions are familiar with what your needs may be, Some issues where a card would be helpful since the ailment may be unnoticed are autism, crowd phobias, and ADD/ADHD.

If your disability is unnoticeable by the Cast Members working at the Guest Relations counter, you will want to bring some type of verification with you to assist the Cast Member in finding the best way to assist. This can best be handled by a doctor's note explaining the disability and the special needs. The specific diagnosis need not be revealed but merely what the concerns would be for the guests' needs.
