Melanie, it sounds like you have a fun trip to
Walt Disney World coming up in just a few short weeks. My family and I always visit for the week of Christmas and I absolutely love it. The
Walt Disney World Theme Parks are dressed up in their holiday best - it's so festive and fun!
I'm sorry to know that you are having trouble adding your son's
park pass reservations. I did take a look at the
theme park availability calendar and do see where park pass reservations are pretty limited for your travel dates. I would recommend reaching out to Guest Services to see if they are able to copy your son onto your park pass reservations. Sometimes, they have the flexibility to do this. I would explain to them the situation and see what they can do. My favorite way to reach out to Guest Services is via the chat in the MyDisneyExperience app. It reduces the wait time because you can open up a ticket and then you can receive a push notification when a Cast Member is ready to chat with you. You can also call Guest Services at (407) 824-4321. Phone lines open up around 7:00 a.m. each day and I do recommend calling as early as possible.
If they are not able to copy your son onto your park pass reservations, you could always switch your reservations around to the parks that are open for him. Then, you can park hop to any other Walt Disney World Theme Park starting at 2:00 p.m. Theme park availability does often change so be sure to keep checking back.
