    Do I need to wear a costume for the Princess race?

    Hi Sue!

    The Princess half marathon is fun for a lot of reasons.  The creative costumes are definitely one of them!  You will see lots of sparkles, glitter, tutus, tiaras, and even full-blown Disney princess gowns! 

    My friends and I usually try to come up with a clever, but comfortable, fun outfit to run in.  But you definitely don't have to wear one, and there are thousands that don't.  If you do decide to wear a costume, you should go on a couple of practice runs to be sure it won't rub you and make you uncomfortable during your race.  Also, keep in mind that masks of any type are prohibited for safety reasons!
