    Do we need water shoes for Castaway Cay?

    Ahoy Don –
    You are down to the last few days before your Disney cruise. HIP HIP HOORAY! I am thrilled for you and your pirate crew! Get ready to relax and enjoy your time on Disney Cruise Line with amazing deck parties, exciting family fun activities, first run movies, and Broadway style entertainment. Along with the fun onboard, your family will have a blast exploring the ports of call and that includes Castaway Cay. For my crew, it is one of our favorite ports with panoramic vistas, clear blue water and white sand. We found the beach to have soft, powdery sand with hardly any rocks or pebbles. My family was comfortable in the water and on the beach barefoot. I suggest that you bring water shoes if any in your crew has sensitive feet, otherwise you should be fine without them.
