Welcome to planDisney Frankie!
Thank you for reaching out to us here. I feel honored to help you make sure your upcoming stay at the Disneyland Resort with your adventure buddy is as magical as can be! I want you to know that, at The Happiest Place On Earth,
everyone is welcome.
The
Disability Access Service (DAS) is a free service that is so helpful because it allows guests and their entire party to schedule return times for attractions instead of waiting in line, among many other things.
DAS can be pre-registered 2 to 30 days before your trip, so I always recommend
requesting a live video chat with a Cast Member to begin the process a couple of weeks before your adventure begins. It is important to make sure that you or the person requesting assistance have a device with a working camera and microphone since a photo will be taken of your royal guest during that live chat, which should only last about 10 minutes. The Cast Member will also ask you a few questions and sprinkle any further pixie dust on any assistance that your cast of characters may need for your magical adventure.
If it is better for you to call Disability Services at (407) 560-2547, or send an email to
disability.services@disneyland.com , those options are also available.
Frankie, have you downloaded the Disneyland Mobile App yet? You’ll need it to scan your
theme park tickets upon entry, and that's also where the DAS Advance will be linked to your account. You will be selecting return times throughout your day in the parks on this free app, and I can guarantee you'll both have a blast getting familiar with it before your visit. My favorite part about the app is that I can place
mobile orders for meals, snacks, and beverages so that I can stay one jump ahead of the breadline, one step ahead of the crowds!
Frankie, I hope this information about how to request a video call about DAS was helpful and that you and your favorite Mouseketeer have an enchanting visit filled with life-long memories. If you think of any follow-up questions,
I’d love to help you again, now that you’ve got a friend in me.
See ya real soon!
