Hello, just need verification on the dining plan. If I book for the 20th and check out on the 26th would that then allow for 6 days of meals ? I know it use to allow you 1 day of meals for each night you stayed for. Thank you

Hey there, Rita! Welcome back to planDisney, and thanks for bringing us your delicious dining plan question!

I’m a big fan of the Disney Dining Plan when planning a family vacation. Strategizing how to use our dining credits and which restaurants to enjoy (do we try somewhere new? Go back to an old favorite?) is a whole family activity and one of my favorite parts of the trip planning process.

The number of credits you receive with the Disney Dining Plan is based on the number of nights included in your vacation package. That means that if you’re checking in on the 20th and checking out on the 26th, everyone on your reservation will receive the following with the Disney Dining Plan (vs. the Disney Quick-Service Plan):

    - 6 quick-service meal credits
    - 6 table-service meal credits
    - 6 snack/nonalcoholic drink credits
    - 1 resort-refillable mug

And remember, these credits can be used at any time during your stay. You don’t have to use one each day. You could do all quick-service dining one day and table-service the next, or use all your snack credits at once. It’s up to you! Just be sure to use them by midnight on the day you check out because all unused meal credits will expire after that.

Rita, I hope this information helps with your vacation planning. You're very merry visit will be here before you know it! Don’t hesitate to come right back if you have more questions. You’re as welcome as can be at planDisney!

    Bon appétit and magical travels!
