Hello there, Isabella! Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney with your question.
The sun is shining in Southern California and it is a beautiful time to visit Disneyland Resort. The answer to your question is that you may need a valid government ID to enter the parks depending on which ticket type you have. You do not need an ID to enter the parks with a
standard theme park ticket or Magic Key pass. However, if you have purchased the Southern California Resident Weekday Ticket Offer, you will need a valid government ID that shows a current ID with participating address to show proof of residency. The only other reason you may be asked to show ID would be if you were purchasing an alcoholic beverage.
We are finally seeing warmer days here in southern California, which is quite a welcome treat! While the forecast may show lovely weather in the 70s or 80s while you are here, be sure to pack along layers. The mornings and evenings do cool off quite a bit. Or maybe don't pack an extra layer so you will have no choice but to go into the
Emporium and purchase a new Disneyland sweatshirt for a souvenir. Did you know participating stores, like Emporium, have
Merchandise Mobile Checkout that allows you to scan your items in the Disneyland app and pay for them as you wander the store? Then all you have to do is show a Cast Member your barcode at the exit and you are good to go!
Isabella, thanks again for stopping by! See you real soon!
