Do I need to have vaccine cards or proof of a negative test before entrance to the park?

    Hi Nickole,

Welcome to planDisney! I'm thrilled to hear that you're planning a getaway to The Happiest Place on Earth and hope you're counting down the days until the magic and fun begin!

While the state of California is strongly recommending that all Guests be fully vaccinated or receive a negative COVID-19 test prior to entering the theme parks, you will not be asked to show proof of vaccination or a negative test when you arrive. All Guests will be asked to follow the face-coverings policy, which currently requires masks for all Guests ages two and up in all indoor locations, as well as abide by the Health Acknowledgement that is found on the Returning to a Land of Magic page. Disney simply wants all Guests and Cast Members alike to stay as safe and healthy as possible!

As you're thinking through the details of your visit, Nickole, I'd encourage you to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for all the latest happenings. We do know that Disney Genie and Disney Genie+ will launch sometime this fall, so watch for any updates about that. Of course, I also like to read through the latest Foodie Guides to see which scrumptious bites and beverages I'd like to try on my next visit!

Thanks for bringing your important question to us here at planDisney, Nickole. I hope you have a truly magical vacation and make memories to cherish for years to come!
