Welcome to planDisney, Desirae!
With your upcoming trip to The Happiest Place on Earth, this is an important question. Since the beginning of the pandemic, Disney has tried to ensure the safety of its Guests when it comes to COVID-19. Ever since they reopened the theme parks, they've continually taken an intentional and gradual approach when it comes to lessening restrictions. As I type these words, the State of California strongly recommends that all Guests be fully vaccinated or obtain a negative COVID-19 test prior to entering the Disneyland Resort. However, it's important to note that Disney does not require this.
Although Disney strongly encourages all Guests to be vaccinated and wear face coverings when indoors, this is not a requirement. Therefore, you don't need to be vaccinated or provide a negative test result.
I will say that Disney's procedures may change as they continue to follow guidance from the State of California and local health officials. Therefore, Desirae, before you travel next week, I'd encourage you to check the
Disneyland Resort website for any updates.
I trust you'll have a wonderful time, Desirae. If you're going to
Disneyland Park, make sure you stop by the
Mint Julip Bar and order some Mickey beignets. They're the perfect snack to enjoy as you watch
