Do you need to be vaccinated to go into the park or negative test? Or not anymore

Hey howdy hey, Lindsay! You’ve got a friend in me at planDisney, and I’d love to help you with your question.

Your May getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth will be here before you know it, and I couldn’t be more excited for you! You can never be too prepared, so I’m glad to hEAR that you’re wanting to understand the latest requirements for park entry. So, to help you get the latest information for your visit, I recommend checking out this helpful page that is continuously updated with all the latest information for visiting the Disneyland Resort.

Currently, Guests aren’t required to show a negative COVID-19 test or proof of vaccination in order to enter Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park. However, the State of California strongly recommends that all Guests are fully vaccinated or that they receive a negative COVID-19 test prior to entering the Disneyland Resort.

In addition, it’s strongly recommended that Guests wear face coverings indoors, and face coverings are required for all Guests ages 2 and older in certain indoor settings (such as Disney shuttles and in health settings like First Aid) regardless of vaccination status.

Last but not least, the Resort is managing attendance by requiring all Guests to have a reservation for park entry in advance. So, be sure you have a valid ticket and a theme park reservation for the same day and same park that you want to visit. Keep in mind that theme park reservations are limited and subject to availability. Of course, these details are subject to change at any time, so I recommend checking this page again right before your visit.

Now for the fun stuff, Lindsay! Have you heard the exciting news about the return of some of our favorite nighttime spectaculars? I’m thrilled to announce that on April 22, 2022, the “Main Street Electrical Parade” and “Disneyland Forever” fireworks spectacular will return to Disneyland Park, and “World of Color” will return to Disney California Adventure Park. In addition, “Fantasmic!” will return to Disneyland Park on May 28, 2022. I can’t wait to watch these nighttime spectaculars light up the night once again!

I hope this information helps you prepare for your upcoming visit, Lindsay!

We can’t wait to see ya’ real soon!
