Hi Rachel,
Thank you for coming to planDisney with your question. I am happy to help you consider the health and safety requirements for your upcoming Disney Cruise Line sailing.
I have sailed a couple of times since the advent of the COVID-19 pandemic, and I have found Disney Cruise Line to be very on top of both being at the forefront of safety and precautions for guests, as well as for communicating their protocols to guests both through their website and e-mails to guests who are booked for an upcoming cruise.
Currently, if your
sailing departs from the United States or Puerto Rico, guests do not need to be vaccinated for COVID-19. Disney does highly recommend that guests do get fully vaccinated, and that any unvaccinated guests test for COVID-19 two day prior to sailing. For
sailings departing from Canada, Disney will comply with all local regulations. The page for sailings from Canada also includes a link to the Canadian Government's current policies regarding COVID-19 travel, testing and borders. If you are sailing out of another location, or are visiting ports outside of these locations, the links that I provided will offer information about those locations as well.
Please do note that all of these regulations and policies are subject to change. I highly recommend that you visit the sites above often as you approach your sail date. I would also recommend that you check with your airline or other means of transportation for any additional policies that you might need to follow. I also suggest that if you have further specific questions relating to your cruise and the safety protocols that you
give Disney Cruise Line a call. Whenever I call Disney Cruise Line directly, I have found that they are very able to give great answers to my specific questions!
I hope that this information is helpful for you, Rachel! Please do feel free to come back to planDisney with any additional questions you may have.
