Hi, Do you need to be US resident to get a Disney visa card? thank-you

    Hi Andrea,

It’s great to see you here again at planDisney – thank you for trusting our advice and bringing more great questions our way! I love being a Disney Visa Cardholder and am happy to share what’s possible with you.

I spoke with a helpful team member at Chase Card Services who confirmed that to apply for this Visa credit card, you must have a United States based address. Then, if you can obtain credit for this new account, all payments must also be sourced from a United States based bank. It’s a small world, Andrea, so you may also reside in the United Kingdom but if you meet these specific requirements, you may certainly apply for and enjoy the benefits of a Disney Visa Card. If so, be sure to review the details of the Disney Rewards Redemption Card where your reward dollars can be used at many Disney destinations just like cash!

I know this may not be the news you hoped for, but I do hope it’s the clarity you were seeking. I hope you have another exciting visit to the Walt Disney World Resort planned so that we can continue to help you have the most magical time ever! Please come back and see us again real soon.

    Stay magical,
    Amy
