Do I need to be in the us to apply for DAS

    Greetings, Stephen!

Welcome to planDisney! I am delighted to see that your visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth is just a few short weeks away. Hooray! Let's go over registering for Disability Access Service (DAS) so you can continue to plan for the best trip ever!

Guests residing outside of the United States will need to wait to register until they arrive in the US. Once you have arrived, you will be able to begin the registration process online by requesting a live video chat through the Walt Disney World website. If you are applying for DAS on behalf of another Guest, they will need to attend this call with you. Once approved, a photo of the Guest applying for DAS will be taken, and you will be able to select return times through the My Disney Experience app on the day of your park visit. You'll find the DAS tile by tapping the three bars at the bottom of the screen. This may not appear in the app until the first day of your park visit, so no need to worry if you do not see it right away!

As you continue to plan your adventure, be sure to check out the Guests with Disabilities Overview. You'll find the full list of tools and resources available to you and your travel party during your stay. I have found this site to be incredibly helpful when traveling with Ohana who needed additional accommodations during our visits!

I hope your upcoming adventure is magical!
