Do you need to upload your passporr online ahead of time or at the port

    Ahoy, Barry!

Welcome aboard planDisney! It sounds like you’re just about ready to set sail, and mid-February will be here before you can say “Anchors Aweigh!” Let’s talk passports so you can be all set for a smooth embarkation day!

You’ll want to complete your Online Check-In before your sailing, and as part of that process, you’ll need to upload your passport (or other required travel documents, like a birth certificate and photo ID) online. Getting this done ahead of time will save you so much time and hassle on embarkation day. Trust me, the sooner you can check in, the sooner you’ll be up on the pool deck with a “Drink of the Day” in hand, soaking up the Disney vibes.

As you work through the Online Check-In, you’ll also set up your onboard account payment method and choose your Port Arrival Time—an important step in ensuring a stress-free start to your magical adventure. If you hit any snags uploading your passport or completing the check-in process, don’t hesitate to give the Disney Cruise Line Cast Members a call—they’re practically magic when it comes to making everything shipshape!

Now, let me share a couple of my favorite embarkation day tips! I don’t know about you, but I’m always ready for some food magic as soon as I step onboard. If you’re sailing on the Wish or Treasure, skip the longer lines at Marceline Market and head straight for Mickey and Friends Festival of Foods. The tacos, barbecue, and pizza are all so good, and it’s usually much quieter there.

After lunch, my family loves to dive right into the fun—literally! We always pack our swimsuits in our carry-ons so we can hit the pools and water slides before the crowds roll in. Just remember, your stateroom won’t be ready until around 1:30 PM (give or take, depending on the ship and port), and your checked luggage may arrive a bit later. Being prepared for a poolside afternoon means you’ll start your vacation with a splash!

Barry, I hope this helps get you prepped and ready for an unforgettable Disney Cruise Line adventure. Wishing you smooth seas, magical memories, and maybe even an extra taco from Mickey and Friends Festival of Foods!

Sea ya real soon with pixie dust and ocean breezes,
    Dustin
