planDisney here to help! Can I first say how happy I am that you have a
resort hotel stay booked at the Walk Disney World Resort!
If you made your reservation through Walt Disney World Resort, you can try to modify that reservation online. Log into your
My Disney Experience account. Click on My Plans and then find the resort hotel confirmation. If you can modify that reservation online, you should see a link that says Change Reservation. Or, you could call 407-934-7639 to modify. If you made your reservation through a third-party vendor, you will need to make the modification through that vendor.
When you make the change, be aware that the price could be more for the new room. So, just be sure to confirm the new price before you modify. If you have not done so already, also check the
Special Offers to see if any new ones have been released that apply to the dates of your visit. If they have and you cannot modify online with the discount, I recommend that you call and speak with a Cast Member. Although there is no guarantee, they may be able to help you secure the new rate!
Since you have some time prior to your trip, I do hope you plan to make
advanced dining reservations. We were relieved to have made so many for our most recent trip in December. The
Mobile Dine Check-in was fantastic and we never had to wait long to be seated. If you choose to use
Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering, I strongly suggest that you try to place an order at least an hour before you hope to eat. The one day we tried to use it, the pick-up time was going to be two hours from the time we were trying to order.
