Welcome to planDisney, Tammie! Thanks so much for coming to us with your question today. I'm going to be at Walt Disney World Resort right around the same time as you are, and I'm so excited about the mild fall weather and the fun autumnal decorations at
Magic Kingdom Park. I hope you are, too! I see you've got a question about traveling with a little Mouseketeer, and I'm happy to give you all the details, so let's jump right in.
Tammie, kids under the age of three are special guests of Mickey Mouse and do not need a ticket to enter a Theme Park at Walt Disney World Resort. In order to get onto an attraction, the only thing they need to do is meet the height requirement and have an adult with them to ride! Even if you are using
Disney Genie+ service to enter an attraction through the
Lightning Lane, your kiddo does not need one if they are under three.
Since you're about to visit The Most Magical Place On Earth with a little one, I have
a great article from the Disney Parks Blog for you to check out before you go! It's full of essential tips from my fellow Panelists about Rider Switch, stroller rental, and what essentials to pack in your park bag.
There is so much magic out there for your preschooler to experience, and I know you're going to make memories to last a lifetime!
I hope this answers your question, Tammie, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation.
