    Will need 2 - two br villas, 1 cash and 1 pts. Can I book the cash one now to make payts then add the pts one later? If can't get 2nd one in same location can I transfer the cash one to a new hotel so they are together? Worried about booking 7 mo out.

    Your plan sounds like a good one. To be sure that you'll have no problems, call Disney Vacation Club Member Services at 800-800-9800.

    Here's what I found out on your behalf by calling Member Services myself just now...

    By calling Member Services, Disney Vacation Club Members may reserve any Disney Vacation Club Villa, regardless of Home Resort, at the eleven-month window, if paying for the reservation in cash, not points.  To do so, you'll need to pay for one night's stay, plus tax, and the balance of the bill must be paid upon check-in.  Then, at your seven-month window, call Member Services and book your second two-bedroom villa by using your points. If at that time, there isn't a second two-bedroom villa available at that resort, you can instead ask Member Services to find you two two-bedroom villas at another resort. Book one using points, the other using cash, and CANCEL your first reservation. As long as you do this prior to five days before check-in, your cash deposit on your first reservation is fully refundable.

    Regardless of where you stay, be sure to ask Member Services to link your two reservations together, so that the front desk can try to honor both reservations' special location requests.  While never guaranteed, we've found that Cast Members always do their best to keep our rooms together when booking multiple rooms.
