Hi Chris, and welcome to planDisney! We’re so happy you’re here. I happen to think a land and sea adventure is the most magical way to enjoy a Disney vacation! I cruised on the Disney Destiny this summer and followed it up with four pixie-dust filled days at Walt Disney World Resort. I’m so excited for you that you are in for a
truly unforgettable vacation!
You have some fantastic options that can meet your needs at Walt Disney World Resort hotels. The first are the Value resorts, which offer a budget-friendly option with all of the Disney magic! There are family suites at both
Disney’s All-Star Music Resort and
Disney’s Art of Animation Resort. These suites will give you the separate sleeping areas you’re looking for.
I was recently in a family suite at All-Star Music, and I was so impressed with how thoughtfully-designed the rooms are in terms of space and functionality. The master bedroom has a queen bed and bathroom, and the main room has two pulldown queen beds rather than a pullout sofa. It also has a second bathroom. Additionally, there is a kitchen with a full-size refrigerator and a microwave.
Your next option is a
Deluxe Villa resort, which provides both luxury accommodations and the comforts of home. I love the Deluxe Villas because they truly feel like a home away from home! A 1-bedroom villa should meet your needs, as they come with a master bedroom with a king bed and living area with either a pullout sofa bed or a pulldown queen bed, depending on which resort you choose. They also have full kitchens and a washer/dryer combo. That washer/dryer might come in mighty handy after a cruise! We opted for a 1-bedroom villa after our cruise, and the ability to do laundry was a gamechanger!
Chris, I’m wishing you adventures filled with
fantasy both on land and at sea! If you have any more questions, come back and see us here at planDisney. We’re always here to add extra pixie dust to your Disney vacation planning!
See you on Main Street,
Casey
