Magic Happens Parade at DLR

    Need transport from LAX to hotel. Karmel has mixed reviews and price is high. Is there an equivalent to Mears bus? Looking for a service that feels safe and is prompt. Is the drive from LAX to DL nerve-wracking? May do Lyft but I attract crazy drivers.

    Hey, Diane! Welcome to planDisney.

    Trying to figure out transportation from and to the airport is the least magical part of planning a Disneyland Resort vacation. It isn't cheap either! 

    Walt Disney World Resort has a couple of recommended shuttle services, namely, Mears Connect and Sunshine Flyer. I love these services and I'm always happy to use them. Unfortunately, there's currently no equivalent to these services for Disneyland Resort. Karmel Shuttle is about as close as you're going to get. I've never personally used them, however, my in-laws have and they had a positive experience. I have used rideshare services, like Uber and Lyft, and never had an issue. (So far) My drivers have been pleasant and safe on the road. I have also rented a car from the airport and dropped it off in Anaheim too. This wasn't the cheapest option, but it was helpful for my family's needs.

    So they'd be your best options, Diane. Sorry, it's not the answer you necessarily wanted to hear. Whatever option to go with, I trust you'll have a fabulous time at Disneyland Resort.
