Hi Moms! Need a tip for our upcoming late Nov. trip. Trying to decide between O'Hana dinner or Sci-Fi Cafe dinner. We've eaten at O'Hana on our last trip, but for breakfast. Going with DH and DS12. We'll be on the regular dining plan. Thank you!

    Hello, Beth,

When we begin planning a trip to WDW, my sons always remind me to make reservations at Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater.  They have loved it since they were young children and still as teenagers continue to like the campy atmosphere and kitsch.  And I have to confess, I enjoy it as well for the atmosphere; it is so clever and witty.

Don't get me wrong, 'Ohana is also enjoyable with lots of eat and the chance of watching Wishes while dining, but I'm partial to Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater and the chance to get nostalgic with my family.  Eating there has actually brought about many fun conversations about the ways things were for us parents when we were growing up compared to our children's childhood.

You may also enjoy a recent blog at the Disney Parks Blog about a family who has dined at Sci-Fi Dine-In weekly for the last two years!

Regardless of where you choose to eat, you'll be having dinner while at Walt Disney World!  I don't think you can go wrong either way.
