Do you need tickets to visit Disney Boardwalk on Jan 1st, 2021

Welcome to planDisney, Francine, and welcome to the New Year!

Francine, with its turn-of-the-century charm, strolling down Disney's BoardWalk always has me channeling my inner Mary Poppins as she and Bert walked arm in arm down the street. I feel certain that Mary herself would say that leisurely meandering around Disney's BoardWalk and taking in the gorgeous views of Crescent Lake is the perfect way to kick off this brand new year. Francine, I'm happy to report that tickets are NOT required to access Disney's BoardWalk area, but before you grab those Minnie Mouse Ears (or Mary Poppins style parasol) and head out the door, let's talk about a few specifics.

First, if you are staying at a Disney Resort Hotel, this area is accessible via Disney Bus Transportation or the Disney Skyliner. The newest mode of transportation at the Walt Disney World Resort, the Disney Skyliner, stops at the International gateway of EPCOT which is only a short walk away from Disney's BoardWalk.

Second, I encourage you to take a quick look at the restaurants currently available HERE at Disney's BoardWalk before you're on your way. In order to ward off hunger, I always like to check out my dining options in advance. Francine, I hope this helps as you are planning your day. Best wishes for a start to 2021 that is Practically Perfect in Every Way
