Hi Sylvia,
Welcome to planDisney! Oh man - what a bummer. I’m so sorry to hear that you missed out on tickets to
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party on the night that you were hoping to experience it. This specially ticketed event is one of the best events at Walt Disney World. Guests get to dress up in fun costumes (even adults) and trick-or-treat. They’ll also meet characters wearing cool costumes throughout Magic Kingdom. Several attractions will don a Halloween overlay, and there will be lots of
spooky treats to try. It makes me really sad that you might miss out on this. I have also missed out on special event tickets in the past and there’s no bigger feeling of theme park regret.
I did take a look and it appears that tickets for two nights in September and one night in October are still available as of the creation of this response.
Take a look - I’m hoping those dates might work for you. If not, you can try calling the
Tickets & Hotel Reservations Line daily. Sometimes a few tickets become available here and there, but you’ll need to call every day to check. I’ll be honest with you - since these special event tickets are non-refundable, the likelihood of there being cancellations is exceptionally low. However, it doesn’t hurt to call and try. If you can’t secure tickets for this year, consider attending
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party instead. It’s another specially ticketed event in Magic Kingdom running on select nights in November and December bringing all the joy and cheer of the holiday season. This is one of my most favorite events because of the beautiful holiday decorations and the holiday-themed entertainment offerings.
Sylvia, I hope this information is helpful. If you have any additional questions about your Disney World vacation, please come by and visit us here at planDisney again real soon. Until then, TTFN… ta-ta for now!
