    Stephany from CA Asked

Do we need tickets to go into Downtown Disney??

Hi Stephany, welcome to planDisney! Thanks for taking the time to visit us with your question.

Just wanted to let you know that you do not need tickets for entry into Downtown Disney District. Before entering Downtown Disney District, you’ll undergo temperature screening and bag check. Stephany, also please be sure you and all Guests in your party ages 2 and older have face coverings. After a fairly quick pre-entry procedure, you’ll be on your way to enjoy Downtown Disney District!

I recently visited the Downtown Disney District with my family. So many retail and dining locations were available for Guests to enjoy. Be sure to stop by Star Wars Trading Post to check out unique merchandise inspired by The Mandalorian and Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge gear. My kids enjoyed checking out the lightsabers and we even decided on bringing home Darth Maul’s lightsaber.

Of course, don’t miss World of Disney where you’ll find everything from nuiMOs to park ear hats and headbands. And a trip to Downtown Disney District is not complete without visiting Marceline’s Confectionery to bring home some nostalgic sweets or handcrafted treats.

When stores get busy, Disney may utilize a mobile waitlist system to manage capacity. You can utilize the mobile waitlist system via QR code located outside the store or you can leave your name and number with a Cast Member at the store entrance. You’ll be given an approximate return time for your shopping experience.

I hope this information is helpful for you. If you have additional questions, please don’t hesitate to visit us on planDisney again. We’re all EARS!

    Sending you pixie dusts,
    Kiki

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

Greetings from Northern California! I have been fascinated by the magic of Disney since I was a little girl; now that I am a mother of two, I love watching my children experience Disney Parks through their own eyes. I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
