Do I need a ticket for my 2 year old? How do I get her into the park and do I need to bring anything special?

    Hi Amanda!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm so excited to hear that you're planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation for your little princess! We started bringing my son to Walt Disney World when he was 6 months old! It has been so fun watching him discover new things with every Disney vacation.

Planning a Disney vacation for Preschool Kids & Little Ones is so much fun! If your little Mouseketeer will be 2 years old at the time of your Walt Disney World Resort vacation, she will not need a ticket to enter any of the four theme parks! Children under the age of three are Mickey's special Guests of honor! You will not need to bring anything special to prove her age; simply inform the Cast Member at the entrance that your little one is 2 years old, and she'll be all set!

Amanda, I purchased a magical souvenir for my son during one of our Disney vacations when he was around your daughter's age. We had his silhouette portrait done by the artists on Main Street, U.S.A. at Magic Kingdom Park! It was such a special memory having it made! I highly recommend having a silhouette of your daughter done, too!

I'm wishing you an unforgettable vacation! If you have any other questions before your trip, please come back and visit us again!
