Hiya, Allison! Thanks for stopping by the planDisney clubhouse with your question!
You and your little Mouseketeer must be excited about your visit to the
Happiest Place on Earth this month.
Holiday time is the perfect time to visit, with both magic and merriment happening throughout the resort. I'm happy to report that Guests under the age of 3 do not need a
theme park admission ticket or
theme park reservation to visit the Disneyland Resort. However, you will want to include your little one in all dining reservations and
Disneyland Resort Hotel reservations, Allison.
There is so much for little ones to explore at the Disneyland theme parks. In addition to greeting Mickey and his pals on Main Street, U.S.A. and Buena Vista Street, your little one will love visiting Mickey's Toontown and Redwood Creek Challenge Trail! You can use the resort map in the
Disneyland Mobile App to find character greeting times, attractions perfect for smaller guests, and the entertainment schedule. To search the app for attractions by height requirement, open the theme park map by clicking the pin drop icon at the bottom of the home screen. From there, click "Filter" in the top left, and you can find rides that would be perfect for your 1-year-old based on their height or age. How cool is that?
I also want to make sure you know about the Disneyland Resort
Baby Care Centers - there is one in each theme park. Each one has a nursing/feeding area, a diaper changing area, and baby essentials for purchase. At Disneyland Park, the Baby Care Center is at the end of Main Street near the Little Red Wagon. At Disney California Adventure Park, the Baby Care Center is next door to the Ghirardelli Soda Fountain and Chocolate Shop. These centers were a lifesaver when my kids were younger!
I hope this information helps, Allison. Please
visit planDisney again soon!
See you in the parks,
Melissa
