Welcome to planDisney, Kassandra!
I'm so glad that you stopped by with your question. There's nothing quite like bringing your little Mouseketeer to
Walt Disney World Resort. Experiencing and enjoying the magic through their eyes is a special joy. I'll never forget that wonderful moment when we turned the corner on Main Street, USA, and my baby princess caught her first glimpse of Cinderella Castle. Magic!
You'll be pleased to know that tickets for Mousketeers under the age of 3 are considered "Guests of Mickey" and, therefore, don't need a Theme Park ticket! Oh boy!
Kassandra, there is
so much for your little one to do at Walt Disney World. Magic Kingdom Park is my favorite park for kiddos. Your Mouseketeers is going to love seeing some magical friends in the Festival of Fantasy Parade. There are also many kid-friendly attractions, like "it's a small world," Prince Charming Regal Carrousel, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, Jungle Cruise, Under the Sea ~ Journey of The Little Mermaid, and Peter Pan's Flight.
Disney's Animal Kingdom is wild, beautiful, and fun. "The wilderness must be explored!" I'm sure your Mouseketeer will love
Kilimanjaro Safaris,
A Celebration of Festival of the Lion King, and the wonderful
Disney KiteTails. EPCOT is also great for young kids, with attractions such as
Frozen Ever After, Journey Into Imagination With Figment, and The Seas With Nemo & Friends. There is less for little kids to do at Disney's Hollywood Studios. However, my little ones loved Lightning McQueen's Racing Academy and Disney Junior Play and Dance.
Also, make sure you stop by stop by Guest Relations at any Theme Park and tell them you're celebrating your little one's first trip. They will give you some special buttons to wear throughout your trip. This way, the Cast Members and fellow Guests will know that you're celebrating.
One thing you might find helpful for your trip is the
Baby Care Centers in each of the Theme Parks. These are great places to change diapers, feed your child, or even just take a break from all the noise and stimulation.
I hope that's helpful, Kassandra. You're going to have an enchanting time!
ChEARS,
Mike
