Howdy Ryan, and welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by en route to the Most Magical Place on Earth.
Walt Disney World requires all Guests ages 3 and older to purchase
theme park admission, so yes - your Mouseketeer will need a ticket. During the current phase of reopening, all ticketed Guests also need a
Disney Park Pass Reservation to enter the theme parks. Springtime is a popular time to vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort, so be sure to check the
Availability Calendar and make those reservations as soon as possible.
Ryan, I think you'll find
plenty for the pre-school age set to zip-a-dee-do in all four theme parks. From viewing
Character Cavalcades to riding classic attractions like
"it's a small world," you'll love experiencing the magic of Disney through your child's eyes. I have a little Princess of a similar age and some of her favorite attractions are
Toy Story Mania in
Disney's Hollywood Studios,
Kilimanjaro Safaris at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, and
Frozen Ever After at EPCOT. She loves everything at the Magic Kingdom Park, but my favorite memory was her first ride aboard
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. She was so proud after conquering her very first roller coaster and was singing heigh-ho the rest of the day. If you can manage with your itinerary, I recommend a character meal so your little one can catch a glimpse of some Disney friends. Currently,
Chef Mickey's,
Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera,
Garden Grill Restaurant, and
Hollywood & Vine are all offering modified character dining.
I hope your family has a wonderful spring getaway, Ryan. While you count down the final days until vacation, check out the
Disney Parks Blog and
follow planDisney on social media for quick tips and reports from inside the theme parks. Thanks again for stopping by, and we'll see ya real soon!
