Do i need a ticket and park reservation for my 1 year old son?

Hey there Denice and welcome to planDisney. If there is one thing Mickey loves the most it is getting to meet the littlest of Mouseketeers. Your trip in a couple of months will set the stage for a lifetime of magical memories.

Guests under 3 years old do not need a theme park ticket or a theme park reservation. These are special Guests of Mickey and the rest of the Fab Five. Traveling with an infant means being extra prepared. Please take a look at the Theme Park Rules regarding outside food and materials including stroller sizes and know that Baby Care Centers are located in every theme park. We have found these to be a nice refuge from the hustle and bustle of the theme parks.

planDisney Pro Tip: Every attraction has guidelines for Guests. You will be able to see these on the attraction landing page online and inside the My Disney Experience Mobile App. While it is a little old this Magic Kingdom Park Attraction Height Ranges guide is very helpful.

Denice, you are your son and going to have a great time. Please reach back out to planDisney for more Disney vacation planning tips with your infant. Feel free to write me back directly with any follow-up questions.

    Enjoy making many Magical Memories.
