Hey there, Amber, and welcome to planDisney! I believe that it’s never too soon to immerse our little ones in the magic of
Walt Disney World Resort. But I will say that you are a brave soul for planning to visit the parks with a one-year-old! Any travel at that age requires meticulous planning, lots of patience, and diapers! We can not forget the diapers.
Amber, children two and under do not require a ticket to the parks. I always wonder if Disney’s thought process is: if you’re brave enough to bring your mini super into the parks, you shouldn’t have to purchase them a ticket. Whatever their reasoning, I have been quite the beneficiary of this practice as the father of four littles.
Amber, each
Theme Park also has a
Baby Care Center available for Guest use. The Baby Care Center offers a quiet, air-conditioned space for mothers to nurse, heat bottles, or rock their babies to sleep. There is even a toddler space with Disney movies playing to calm the older kids. Whenever my kids need a moment to unwind, I make my way to the Baby Care Center.
I hope this helps, Amber! Soon you’ll be immersed in the magic of Walt Disney World!
To Infinity and Beyond,
