Do I need to be the ticket holder, or have ticket information to make reservations for dinning at Disneyland?

Well hello, Rachelle! Welcome back to planDisney. We love to see that you are back again with another question about your visit to Disneyland Resort next month.

I've got great news for you. Tickets and theme park ticket reservations are not required to be able to make dining reservations at Disneyland Resort. Anyone can make dining reservations for you and your party up to 60 days in advance from the date. You do need theme park tickets and reservations for that park to be able to enjoy your dining reservation if it's located in one of the parks. Just head to Disneyland's website or the Disneyland app and see what's available. Pro Tip: When looking for reservations, be sure to click on a specific time and avoid clicking the "breakfast, lunch, and dinner" choice options. For some reason, I find that I see more reservations when looking at specific times than if you click on those mealtime options.

If you don't end up finding the reservations that you are looking for I recommend checking from time to time, but definitely look a few times the day before the date you are looking for. I've had lots of luck scoring really great last-minute dining reservations the day before. This is usually when many Guests wait to cancel their reservations if plans change.

Another option for some dining locations is the mobile walk-up list. You will be able to see if the location is participating in this by checking the location out in the Disneyland app. There will be an option for it on that dining location's information page next to the menu.

Rachelle, thank you so much for stopping by again. We love seeing you back and hope to see you real soon!
