Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jennifer!
Happy arrival day! Sending you loads of pixie-dust for a magical start to your vacation.
You do not need a theme park ticket to access and enjoy
Disney's BoardWalk Area - this shopping, dining, and entertainment location is open to all guests. However, bus service is not available between Resort hotels, so you'll need to take Disney Bus Transportation from your hotel, if staying on-property, to Disney's Hollywood Studios - it is just a short walk from Hollywood Studios to the BoardWalk. Another transportation option is the
Minnie Van Service, Walt Disney World® Resort's newest, and cutest transportation option. Of course, if you will have a personal vehicle, parking is available at Disney's BoardWalk Inn parking lot. If you are a guest of a Walt Disney World® Resort hotel, make sure you have your MagicBand with you to be scanned at the entrance gate. The ability to park will depend on the capacity level of the resort.
For your dining question: If you have theme park admission for just one park per day, you will not be able to visit another theme park for dining. To do this, you will need a Park Hopper Ticket. This type of ticket will allow you to "hop" to and from all four theme parks as you'd like! If your current ticket option is not a Park Hopper Ticket, you can always upgrade to include the Park Hopper option so you may visit more than one park per day!
I hope this helps, Jennifer! Please let me know if any additional question come up while on vacation. You can reach out to me directly and I'll be more than happy to help.
